the main problem with the default iTunes script is the hierachy of adjusting the system and itunes volumes, and even more importantly, the very large step size.

in the itunes "set volume" standalone script, i can successfully change to 50 steps and it works, but in the main iTunes script, how can i change the step size (delta?)
Issue still not resolved and haven't heard anything since the last email sent to salling with application log information.
I have pretty much at this point in time came to accept that I lost $22 as I don't forsee any resolution anytime soon. The reason being is the original post was made on December 23rd and still nothing almost 3 months later.

Everyone who this works for have fun but I think I am going to look for another solution and accept the $22 mistake.

Salling Media Sync for Mac :: RE: iPhoto Album/Folder on destination device?

Are there any updates on this issue? I've tried both doubleTwist and The Missing Sync, none is reliable in my opinion.

As for doubleTwist using Events to create folders, it doesn't really work that well. iPhoto manages its folders in a weird way that I personally can't figure out... For example, some photos in one Event can be in a folder named the same as the Event, and some in a folder that has a date as the folder name... So when you sync photos using doubleTwist, you get the albums with the Event names that have "some" of the photos in the Event, and other albums with names as some dates that have the rest of the photos.

I think the main problem here is that iPhoto manages its Library Folder in a way that nobody can understand except its developers (Actually, maybe even they don't understand it, considering Apple's iPhone not showing Events separately when synced with iPhoto...). I don't understand why it can't be more like iTunes' Library Folder, organized perfectly! Shouldn't be that difficult...

Anyway, looking forward to an update that finally fixes this issue

Jhnry, I'm still running 0.9.6.6. Might be the automation server won't work with v.1 (it's not been updated in quite a while), however I haven't tested it.

Rendboell, please check your system is setup correctly - clicker and windows scripting. See if other scripts are working.
In task manager you should find comserver2helper.exe (fb2k running).

If this doesn't help check out the comserver documentation and try talking to it via other languages, e.g. perl, vbs etc.

Salling Media Sync for Mac :: RE: Why does Salling Media use so much Ram after syncing?

I'd say don't worry about it. Salling Media Sync is written in C# and is thusly garbage collected. The system will release the memory when it thinks it's suitable. There's really no huge point in having a lot of free ram; what's important is that when more memory is needed, it can be collected.

Best.

I absolutely love Salling Media but after each sync with my Blackberry Storm the memory usage jumps from around 40 megs to close to 500 megs and doesn't drop back when the sync is done. I have to restart it to clear up that ram usage. Is this a corrupt preference file doing this or does the program just eat ram like its a langolier?
