Is it planned to extend Salling Clicker with Hotkey Support?
Say: You press "1" on the phone => Computer does for example strg+alt+r
Or, if it is allready possible... how to script it? I looked through the scripts, but non of 'em seems to use the phone numbers. And I don't know how to send hotkeys to the pc via the script;)
If s/o coul help me out, I think I could tailor a quck'n'dirty script to do it for several hotkeys;)
And I would buy the program, cause right now its enough to be able to say "fucking Mediaplayer Start" and "Shutdown Computer" and these are much less then 30 clicks;)

Hi,

I suggest you first have a look at this thread:

http://www.salling.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2930

Second, I can say that Clicker 3.0.1 will have a bit more muscle in controlling "unscripted" applications, going beyond keystrokes. I hope to have you guys get your hands on it tomorrow.

Best.

shame on me...
I stopped reading the thread you mentioned yesterday cause it said you need to have scripting experience;)

As it seems 3.0.1 will have exactly the functions I need!
So I'll for now just try to script something really simple and update it when 3.0.1 is finnished.
Thx!

While we wait for 3.0.1 there is a way to get the same functionality
of shortcut CTRL+ combinations. First you should try the following...

[code:1]SendKeystroke( 0x41 | 0x200, false )[/code:1]

This is supposed to send a CTRL+A for example, where 0x100=SHIFT
0x200=CTRL, and 0x400=ALT. This didn't work for me, but try it.
Multi-combos like SHIFT+CTRL+A will probably not be supported.

Also bear in mind that whatever they improve to allow sending key
combination (modifier) keystrokes, they will probably not work
with shortcut programs like AutoHotkey or KeysTweak. The combo
will have to be native to the particular software you want to control.

However, you can get the functionality of comb-keystrokes now,
by using the Menu Bar commands (top File menu). For example
CTRL+A opens the GPS panel in Microsoft Streets. You could also
hit F10 (or ALT selects the top menu), then T (for tools), then P for
GPS Pane.

These three commands happen very quickly, barely a screen flash.
Good enough for testing while we wait for version 3.0.1. You can also
create very complicated shortcuts to achieve multiple actions.

if( theKey == "7" ) {
// VK_MENU
SendKeystroke( 0x1B, false ); ESC
SendKeystroke( 0x79, false ); F10 or ALT
SendKeystroke( 0x54, false ); T (Tools)
SendKeystroke( 0x50, false ); P (GPS)
ShowMessage("GPS Pane");
}
