Reading previous posts I understand it is most likely a stack issue. I do not know which one is currently installed. However I'd like to try the Microsoft one (I run XP SP2). Could you please give some instructions? Thanks

I have attached a screenshot from the device manager. The only brand name I could find there was COM One

If so, try following the steps under "Note.1" to uninstall your current drivers. Efter restarting the computer (as indicated in the last step of Note.1), insert the dongle, and see if Windows recognizes it. Best. -- Jonas

Mine is the following: http://www.com1.fr/download/download94a7.html?id_product=59&local=uk I already uninstalled the drivers and restarted Windows and it did not recognize it, so now it is running on the updated COM one drivers Regards CH

I think at this point, it'd make sense to contact COM One and ask them if their adapter is compatible with the Microsoft stack. Should be easy for them to answer that question. Their FAQ link leads to a missing document, so I was not able to find any information there. Best. -- Jonas

Elle peut donc seulement être utilisée avec le logiciel Bluetooth Manager qui s’installe." So I guess it closes down the issue. Thanks for your help anyway. Regards CH
