Hi there.

I've got a small Problem, that annoys me a little bit.

Each time I plug in my Bluetooth Dongle i need to close SallingClicker and reopen it. (I use my notebook for presentations and just put it into StandBy each time i change the location...)

A Button "Rescan Devices" would do the job for the meantime, but recognizing a new Dongle automatically would be the best solution. The current way works, but it is not very comfortable.

Should it be a piece of cake to implemet this? :)

Greetings, paresy

It is actually designed to auto-detect the dongle, but there may be problems. What Bluetooth stack are you using?

Best.

Ok. Works for me here, but I've filed a bug for this. Should be taken care of in an update.

Did you pair your phone from the computer or from the phone?

I paired from my PPC to my notebook. And after pluggin in the Bluetooth Dongle i can't reconnect cause SallinClicker doesn't provide the Service. I need to close/reopen it to get ist working.

The Info Page does not show any valid Bluetooth Devices either. After a close/open it does...

If i can provide some more helpful Information just let me know :)

The Microsoft driver notifications can come in real slow. Also, with the MS drivers, you need to be careful about unplugging and plugging back in too quickly, as this (in my testing) has shown to bring the device manager down quite easily.

Could you please run this simple test:

1. Restart the computer (with the dongle in).

2. Make sure it's recognized by CLicker.

3. Unplug the adapter.

4. Wait 1 minute

5. Plug the adapter back in

6. Wait for (max) 5 minutes

Let me know if Clicker still doesn't recognize the "coming" of the Bluetooth hardware.

Best.

Ok, i tried... (on a fresh WinXP SP2)... SallingClicker detects the unplugging after a few seconds. But it doesn't detect the Dongle after pluggin it in...

Btw... It should recognize it within seconds... otherwise i'm faster with restarting the App :)

Greetings, paresy
