Hello all,

I tried my Level One Bluetooth dongle with Salling Clicker.
And I got the message, that I had to upgrade to Widcomm Stack 1.42.10 or something like that.
But, this is the actual driver, which was supported from Level one and produces no blue screne.

So, I have 2 questions:

1.) Does anybody can support me with a link to a newer Widcomm Stack
or
2.) Has anyone a discription, how I can switch to Microsoft Stack. (I'm searching since 2 hours and can't find it in this forum, maybe I'm blind 8) )

This would help me.

Thanks to all
Mickey

Could you please check Clicker's About tab, under "Support Information". What does it say?

Best.

Hi again,

the support informations is saying:
"No compatible Bluetooth Stack/device recognized"

and , after installing the 3.0.1 Version, I got the message:
"Your Widcomm/Bluetooth stack is too old, please update to version 1.4.2.10 SP5 or higher."

I think, that I have 2 chances.
First, to change to Microsoft stack
or
Second, to update the Widcomm Stack.

Can you help me with a discription or URL, how I can do this?

  :?:

Hi,

You should be able to switch back to the Microsoft stack/drivers from the Device Manager. Select the Bluetooth device, and choose to upgrade the drivers; this, and a restart, has worked for me when I've done this.

Best.

Hi,

sorry, the system didn't find another compatible driver.
So, I'm not able to activate the Microsoft Stack.
Do you have another idea?

Should I uninstall the widcomm stack?

Or do anyone have e newer version then mine, espacially 1.4.2.10 SP5?

Tx
Mickey
