I was having problems with connecting so i installed the WIDCOMM bluetooth driver, now i get back and it says that the application is not running on my computer even when i can see it launched in the taskbar.....help?

Please first check the About tab in Salling Clicker, to make sure your new stack is detected.

yes it says no stack recognized, what do i do about this?

Sorry. I think your WIDCOMM installation is not working properly. You should verify that it is functional; for instance, what if you try using "My Bluetooth Devices" to scan for your phone?

it finds my phone and detects it and i can send files from my phone to my p.c. just not recognized by clicker...any other ideas?

Okay, but this only proves that you have *some* Bluetooth stack running on the PC; not that you have a compatible stack.

Unless it's too complicated, please use the Device Manager to verify the manufacturer of the Bluetooth stack driver.

well i know my way around device manager but have no idea how to tell what is supposed to be there. I have included a screenshot for you to if that helps at all.

Hi there,

I see ample references to "TOSHIBA" in your screen shot. I wish you had scrolled up a bit, though, so I could see what Bluetooth Devices are present.

I bet you're still using the Toshiba stack, with which we're not compatible.

so are there any tutorials of how to set up a compatable stack? I tried to do this earlier but i have had absoloutly no luck!!! :shock:
