Dear all,

I just tried to use Clicker for Windows (Clicker for Mac ist running perfectly on my home-Mac and on my Treo650). Installation went fine on my WinXPSP2 Dell-Notebook. As remote control I want to use the same Treo650.

The problem is: after starting Clicker on the PC and starting Clicker on the Treo and tap on Connect I always get the message on my Treo:

Error: Is Clicker on PCXY launched? (attribute ist not set to record)

This happens on manual start as well as on auto-connect. The clicker about-button says: „Microsoft Bluetooth: Device present“ and my Treo and the PC are paired...
What could I do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Joerg

Are you sure you're running version 3.0 of the client software on your Palm?

Best.

Could you please let me know if you're attempting to share one Bluetooth USB dongle on both your Mac and your Windows PC?

Best.

No, on my Mac I am using a D-Link DBT-120-Adapter and my Dell Notebook has a build-in Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module...?!
Best regards,
Joerg

I'm stumped. Could you please email me, so that I could perhaps call you and walk you through this?

Best.

Unbelievable enough - when I tried it all this morning again - it worked! %-) I did not change a bit, but it works fine now . Therefore I just bought the software... I am sorry for that confusion to all of you! And what I can say now: your service is terrific. Thanx!

Wow. Don't hesitate to get back to me if you run into it again.

Best.
