Its already in the script. So the problem seems to be some where in the key pressed.
eah i noticed it was a little buggy, sometimes it just keept going trough albums even when the key was realesed..
Yes that what I get.

also I have taken this line out.[code:1]click menu item "Jump to Current Album" of menu 1 of menu bar item "File" of menu bar 1[/code:1]
from the sub routine below. works better without it.

[code:1]on keypressPlay()
tell application "CoverFlow"
activate
end tell

tell application "System Events"
tell process "CoverFlow"

click menu item "Launch Album" of menu 1 of menu bar item "Album" of menu bar 1

click menu item "Jump to Current Album" of menu 1 of menu bar item "File" of menu bar 1

end tell
end tell
end keypressPlay[/code:1]

I need to go out now, but will pick this up again later.
Let me know how you get on.

Also can you let me know how the search script is.

thanks

Have fun with this guys.

Press dpad to play the selected album. Hold dpad to move to the currently playing album.

Bonus points if you add "update code" to grab the currently playing track from iTunes.

Best.

Feel free to grab my script and add your search functionality to it. I don't have the time to keep working on mine, but wanted to iron out some of the issues I found with one of the earlier copies in this thread.

Best.

whats it do when you hit the 'more' button.

It should bring up on your phone a text area for you to type and send.

The script works great for me here! (tested on a Nokia N70, but I do not see how there'd be problems with other devices).

One suggestion for an improvement: make it more obvious how to clear the search field so I can again see all albums (I noticed that hitting "More" again, and cancelling did the trick).

Best.

Thanks Jonas, I was getting worried there.

I put the clear search, there on purpose ( should have said) as you need to have it clear to do a new search.

The way I get back, is use the 'Down' button to get back to current album.

I was also thinking of using the alpha/numric buttons for other functions.

Next track, Prev track, sound and so on.

But I do not think I can get it up to scratch of the iTunes remote already
in SC. But it may be worth adding something any way.

I may figure a way to use the more button to link to the iTunes scripts.
But not holding my breath.

what i get is, at first "want to laung coverflow" then it opens and i see a messagewindow how to use the controlls.. thats it. i use the josytick and press on the current album, it starts. if i press again, itunes pauses, if i press again, the song starts over from the start.

no other button works?

im using it on a SE K700i
