Ok the only thing I can suggest is:

In the Clicker PrefPane.

Create a New Script. make it a Keypad Widget.
Load it and press you 'More' button

it should say "f" was released. But let us know what it says.

The "More" button is unmarked on your phone model (no way around this).

Press the right softkey.

Best.

Ok two things can happen here.
You can change the script so "f" is change to "*"

Or I could add a line to take this into account.

It all depends on how this effects the plans on adding functions.

The "*" key is an obvious key to use for other functions.

hey guys! restarted my comuter, and now it works! i did have the "more" on the rigt top as stated.. this is great!!!

if you want feedback for changes, i would say, that it would be good if you could pause the song, now you pause and then it starts over again, and also a possibillty to change song in the album, maybe by pressing up and down..

But to me its great! thanx for a hell of a job!

Thank God for that..

if I get a chance I will look at other options.

A Lot depends on time and getting my head around SC.

Jonas,

Just remembered, I did try and use the " simulate keyboard virtual down keycode 53" (escape) to come back to all albums aftera search. with the "^" key

The nice thing in doing it that way was it would leave you at the last
found album, with all the others visible also

But I kept getting a repeat on it which would manifest its self some time later, when I left and came back to Coverfow??
So I took it out.
Any ideas how to not get repeats if a certain key is pressed.

Thanks

Mark,

Not sure what you mean here. You always get the down/repeat/up events (no repeats if the key isn't held down long enough). What you can do in your script is to not do anything when a repeat event is sent for a specific key.

Best.

Ok the clear now works on the UP key.
took me a little while to realise all I had to do was take out the 'down' bit from ' simulate keyboard virtual down keycode' .

I will post a new version later.

It will have some more features on.
Play button only Play's Albums From scratch Now
New Key to Play/Pause
New Key to Fast-forward/Skip Forward
New key to Rewind/Skip Back
New Keys for Volume Control
Track Name and Album (may change to Track Name and Artist) displayed Briefly When, Play,Skip keys are hit.

All of this is done and works very well, but I want to clean the code up a bit

Ok Sorry it took So long, got tied up..

Here is the latest version

The controls are here

{Left},{ Right} To Scroll
{enter} to Launch Album
{Down} to Current Album
{More} to Search for Albums
{Up} to Clear Search/Return to Albums
{9} More Controls keys
{0} Play/Pause
{#} FFwrd (Hold Down key)
{*} RRwnd (Hold Down key)
{#} Nxt track
{*} Prev Track
{1} Volume up
{2} Down
{5} Mute
{BACK} for Prev Screen - (when on second help screen)

but you will be able also see them in the app.

Also I have been in touch with the Coverflow author, who may, or may not be open to some suggestions,
Hmm, looks interesting.
What sort of features would you like to see exposed through Applescript? I'm guessing you'd like to be able to set the search terms - what else? Give me a list & I'll see what I can do...
Post back here and I will send them to them.

Note also that I have made them aware of this thread, So they can see
the progress.
