Hi, I bought a Belkin USB Bluetooth Stick to connectmy Loox 720 to my PC. I hae the right bluetooth stack (3.0.1.912) and I can connect to mny Loox via normal Bluetooth, but when I try itwith Salling Clicker, it says the "No Useful Service can be found", on the PDA and the PC. How can I fix this? |

Hm. You get this message in similar wording from both your PC and your PDA, do you?
Did you try restarting the PDA?
Best.

Okay. Two things, then:
1. I take it you have checked in the About tab of Salling Clicker on your PC for the Support Information? (I think you probably got the Widcomm stack version from there, in which case you're good).
2. In Salling Clicker on your PDA, what does it say on the main/idle display?
Best.

Ye I have cvhecked the About tab, it says I have the Bluetooth Stack mentioned above.
I CAN choose the device Loox 720 from the Bluetooth List when I set upo the device.
The Idle screen shows the normal message "Not Connected. You can Connect using either Bluetooth or TCP/IP."
When I click Connect using Bluetooth, An error shows upo saying "Cannot start Device Enquiry" |

This would indicate some sort of serious problem with Bluetooth on the PDA end.
Could you please try sending a contact from the PDA to the computer?
Also, if you could let me know what version of the Widcomm stack is on the PDA, that'd be great. Control Panels -> Bluetooth -> (last tab, I think).
Best.

Thanks. Do all components listed indicate similar version numbers?
Also, again could you please try sending a contact from the PDA to the computer?
Best.

Specifically, I mean send a file from the PDA to the computer (in that direction).
Best.

I think it is an actual bluetooth problem, not an SC one. Is there a website where I can download bluetooth stack updates for my PDA and PC? |

Hm. Apparently, The Loox 720 should work fine:

I'm thinking something's up with Bluetooth on your PDA, as you get those errors when attempting to connect from it.
Did you attempt to send a file from the PDA to the computer, as I suggested you did?
Also, to answer your question, Loox updates should be available from Fujitsu-Siemens. However, I looked at their site, and there didn't seem to be much of interest. :-( As you can see in the link above, the other guy was having success with his Loox, and he's using the same Bluetooth stack version as you.
Best.
