Whats up guys and gals, was wondering if any of you could help me with this issue.

at May 06 18:10:24 2006
iTunes Remote - Microsoft JScript runtime error
[Line: 55 (1)] Automation server can't create object

Z520a (Cingular Branded)
XP Home
Widcomm Locked and Loaded

Powerpoint and mouse controls work swimmingly, but not the itunes or media player (I prefer itunes) but i'm down if I can only get working. Any suggestions?

Matt

Hi Matt,

This error indicates that you're running some sort of anti-virus software that prevents the iTunes controller from accessing the file system.

What anti-virus tool are you using?

Best.

AVG Free Edition, which is has been disabled temporarily due to things I was attempting from the forum to fix it. Disabling it made no difference, but I dont know is there a known problem with AVG Free? Also, is the V3 issue with Cingular perminent, or are you already working on some solution. V3 Black not V3i

Hi Mat,

I'm not familiar with that particular tool, but haven't heard of any problems either.

The V3 Black cannot ever work with Salling Clicker. The V3i is the first RAZR model that is compatible. For the V3i, the Cingular issue may not be permanent; we'll see.

As for the script error, please try running this standalone script to see if it triggers any anti-virus dialog panels, or if it plain doesn't work (in which case something's wrong with your system).

The stand-alone script contains the statement that failed in the iTunes controller.

Best.

I'm currently uninstalling Norton (installed it after I removed AVG) to see if that makes any difference.
