|

Ok, so I have a new RAZR V3c, on metro PCS in atlanta. My service doesn't have WAP, and the phone won't accept the JAR file with using Bluetooth File Exchange. On my last phone, a Nokia 6255i, I had to use a third party app, PhoneDirector, to get clicker onto the phone. After that it worked flawlessly.
I ask, is there a way to get the clicker software onto a RAZR V3c without using WAP or OBEX? Perhaps a third party app similar to PhoneDirector but for Moto phones? |

The V3c cannot run the Java application. This phone lacks Java/MIDP support. Sorry...
Best.

Oh. shit. i thought V3x meant anything with V3 and then another letter.
jonas, have you encountered any seem editting, firmware flashing, etc that could enable java on a phone on which it was disabled? |

Bummer. There appears to be a couple of tricks to "enable" Java on phone's that have had theirs' restricted. However, your phone model never had Java on it, so I think you're out of luck.
FWIW, the V3x is a 3G-version of the V3. Sorry about the confusion.
Best.

I think you might risk "bricking" the phone if you do that. Be careful.
Best.

will do mate.
did you ever consider porting clicker to 'BREW', the software language supported by my razr (and i assume many other phones). i dont know if it would be worth it for you to do this, i guess it depends on how many new customers you'd get. |
