|
|
When I connect to my phone through the clicker in the menu bar it comes up with the right icon for the W600i for phone events, but when I connect to clicker through the phone app. the icon is some other generic phone. Is there any way I can get it to keep the W600i icon?
Any help would be great.

Not sure this'll help, but did you try the latest Universal Binary beta version?
Best.

Could you please try this for me?
1. Quit Salling Clicker from the menu bar status item
2. In Terminal, write:
defaults write com.salling.SallingClickerHelper DebugConnection YES
(all on one line)
3. Open Console (/Applications/Utilities)
4. Open the prefpane and connect with your phone
Let me know the manufacturer and model IDs printed in console.
Best.

Sorry it's taken me awhile to get around to this but here is what the console said":
2006-05-29 23:18:36.027 SEC Helper[252] Manufacturer ID: Sony Ericsson
2006-05-29 23:18:36.157 SEC Helper[252] Model ID: AAF-1052021-BV
2006-05-29 23:19:02.071 SEC Helper[252] Manufacturer ID: Sony Ericsson
2006-05-29 23:19:02.151 SEC Helper[252] Model ID: SonyEricssonW600i
2006-05-29 23:19:02.697 SEC Helper[252] Sending last menu packet to device.
2006-05-29 23:19:02.733 SEC Helper[252] Device returned OK for last menu packet
The first Manufacturer ID, Model Id were when the computer connected to the phone to monitor events, the second two were when i connected from the phone to use the clicker.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. Please try dropping the attached file here:
~/Library/Application Support/Salling Clicker/
(this is in your home folder)
Then restart Salling Clicker.
Best.
