Hello good people,

I've just purchased a new usb adapter, the Linksys USBBT100 v2, and it seems to be working quite well with the services Linksys "wants" me to use it with; ie. services provided in the Linksys BT icon.

But when trying to use it with Clicker, the computer is not found. A quick look in the Bluetooth Devices reveals nothing under Hardware. So what to do???

It uses the Widcomm stack. Driver version: 4.0.1.700

Thanks in advance,

Řyvind

Hi Řyvind,

Could you please let me know what it says under "Support Information" in Salling Clicker -> About?

Best.

Hi Řyvind,

Two questions that come to my mind:

1. Assuming your PC is set to be "discoverable", the phone client should have found your computer, which indicates perhaps...

2. ... it'd be fruitful to restart your computer to flush out any Bluetooth problems with the stack.

You should also be seeing a device under the Hardware tab, I think.

Do you have any other version numbers pertaining to the stack to share? Sometimes, Widcomm's licensees messes with the number "ordering", making it difficult to assess whether a version corresponds to the lowest "pure" Widcomm version compatible with Salling Clicker.

Best.
