Behold the cool phone image beside this post!

How do I decorate my posts like this, you ask?

Easy. Open your profile (button above) and use the "Avatar control panel" at the bottom of the Profile page.

Hey - equal rights for people with crappy old phones!

I'll upgrade my T39m when I can actually find a phone with features I want :)

Sorry. An omission on my part. The T520m is actually in there, so it's not an "age thing". ;-)

Also, I will add some Palm OS models. This will be taken care of tomorrow.

So, I've added a bunch of devices now (including the T39m). Also, I noticed some of the P900 pictures were accidentally jpegs (no transparency), so if you had picked one of those, you may have to redo your avatar selection.

Hurrah - fear my retro monochrome non-polyphonic avatar!

Cheers, Jonas

Ha, after all that I went and got myself a T610 anyway.
Wasn't going to, but the dealer was chucking in 20GB click-wheel iPods for free. Not a bad deal really :)

Hi

I know it's not really an important thing, but is there any chance of an updated avatar gallery? I could put together a set of images for some phones if need be, I just want to be able to put my Nokia 6680 / E70 next to my posts :P

Even if it was only the 'supported devices' plus a couple of others that would be fine... you could use the avatars people choose as statistics for the userbase of each device with clicker.

I remembered where I'd seen the horizontal phone pictures. They're on mobymemory.com

Should be pretty easy to download those and resize them for the forum :)
