|I've been using Salling Clicker on my old SE Z600 for a couple of years, and it's become absolutely indispensible for the presentations I give. So you can imagine how I felt when I damaged my Z600 recently. A quick check on the Salling website told me that the Z610i (which I imagine is the Z600 replacement) is supported by Salling Clicker, so I bought one.
But it seems Salling Clicker will only drive PowerPoint if the fliptop phone is left open? I used to connect my Z600 and then close it, using the external volume buttons for next slide and previous slide. The Z610i has the same external volume buttons, but Salling Clicker doesn't seem to recognise them.
My choice of phone purchase was influenced by this great piece of software, and the fact that it was supported on this phone. Given that the PowerPoint scripts for Salling Clicker supported the external volume buttons for the Z600 I'm hoping that's it's an easy scripting job to get the external volume buttons supported on the Z610i as well.
I'll change phones again if I have to just to get this working, but of course I'd need to know in advance if Salling Clicker support for the Z520i, V800 or Z1010 (for example) included support for the external volume buttons.
Can anyone help with scripts to get the external volume buttons supported in PowerPoint on the Sony Ericsson Z610i please.
Thanks (in anticipation...)
