All,

I just completed writing and testing my first scripts. These will allow you to raise and lower your system volume from your phone, complete with onscreen display.

I am still very new to JavaScript (and programming in general, as I am a software tester by trade), so if you see any errors or things that should be changed, please let me know or feel free to edit them.

The attached files may be altered, edited and distributed freely, just please keep my name/information attached as long at the core functionality still exists.

To install, simply unzip the folders to your "My Documents\My Clicker Scripts" folder. These will show up in Clicker as "System" scripts.

Enjoy!

I just started playing around with Clicker, looking through the provided example scripts and changing bits and pieces. Awesome application, it has huge potential.

Anyway, I wanted a system volume script, so I took yours and combined them into one (ie. slider interface on phone). I've attached the script, to install follow the instructions in the first post.

Hope you like!

for the second script, the zero and the one are both no volume, and the first volume change begins at the second tic mark. any way to fix it?

I was just wondering if there is possible to adjust the Digital Volume instead of the System Volume. The digital volume can be viewed in the Volume Controls in Windows, right next to the system volume.

None of these scripts seem to do anything on my machine... Is it possible they only work on XP? (I'm running Vista...)

Depends on how you got Clicker onto your Vista machine.

Could very well be that you have a broken installation, since our installer won't (yet) allow installations under Vista.

Im pretty sure the problem with the volume script with vista is that vista vista handles volume completely different than xp

it has a volume control for every application running and a master one for the system

or google "audio stack vista" or "volume control vista" etc

Dlusion_z:

You're spot on about this one. This problem has been fixed for the soon to be released 3.5 version.

Best.
