I recently acquired a usb bluetooth adapter and I am looking to use my w810i as a remote for winamp. I have tried various programs and followed the directions for them as best as possible, yet I still can't get it to work. I don't know if it is the connection that is wrong, or the programs I'm trying. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

What Bluetooth stack does your dongle use?

Best.

A Bluetooth stack is the system software that controls the dongle.

Did you install any software that came with your dongle? If so, look for "about menus" in it. It's either going to be Widcomm/Broadcom, IVT/BlueSoleil, or TOSHIBA.

Best.

Thanks.

In your question, you referred to "various programs". This is a forum dedicated to Salling Clicker and other Salling applications.

Did you try Salling Clicker? It shouldn't be very hard to figure out if the connection is working the way it should.

Best.
