|
|
Hey, I wonder if there exists an "stand-by mode". One that makes your system go into sleep/stand by mode.
I know of the version to turn off the computer, but since I always put my computer on stand-by, (and I suck at scripting,) I wonder if somebody has that type of script and wants to share it.
Thanks in advance,
- Bart

Here ya go:
*Features*:
Shutdown: I removed the time delay from the default script
Standby: as you requested
Hibernate: Hibernating and Standby both work with bohrsatom's "proximity unlocker" a few seconds after you turn on your computer.
Reboot: because rebooting is a natural part of Windows-life
Logoff:
Lock Computer

Did you try using the scriptt? Install the script, then click on "shutdown Computer" and you'll see a list of the options I mentioned.
Mel
NOTE: The Clicker default script is listed as "Shutdown," this one is listed as "Shutdown Computer." Make sure you're using "Shutdown Computer."

Excuse my ignorance but I am new to Sailing Clicker but how do you get the Monitor Shutdown script to work?

I assume you mean the Monitor-Off script, not the Shutdown script, correct?
From what I remember about monitor-off, you need to install nircmd.exe (someone correct me if I'm wrong here).
Google nircmd.exe, install it, then run the script as usual.

Sorry I mean the Monitor Off Script mentioned in the earlier posts. My problem is that I have downloaded and placed it in My Scripts but I cannot see it in Sailing Clicker Scripts and therefore cannot add to clicker items. Do I need to install nircmd.exe first?

It'll show up in the Salling Clicker Scripts list if the script is properly installed, which it appears to not be in your case.
What needs to be in the My Clicker Scripts directory is a folder (one for each script) containing an XML file and a script file.
Best.

Thanks I thought that may be the problem, the script by Lipkiss does not include the xml file. I guess I will not be using this script then
