So I feel like an idiot spending hours with no success. I have setup shortcut keys for my dual monitor setup running ultramon. What I have been trying to figure out is how to write a script with phone keys bound to move a window to either the left or right monitor. i.e. Chose either ctrl+alt+< or ctrl+alt+> by pressing left or right on the phone. If someone could please help it would be much appreciated.

... or try this one. (I misread your request the first time). Either one should work.

Did you mean cntrl+alt+</> or cntrl+shift+</> ? You said "alt" in your first post, but "shift" in your second. I made the scripts for "alt."

If you want to change them to "cntrl+shift", change the following lines:
-sendvirtualkeystroke(0x27, false, true, true, false)
-sendvirtualkeystroke(0x25, false, true, true, false)
...to
-sendvirtualkeystroke(0x27, true, true, false, false)
-sendvirtualkeystroke(0x25, true, true, false, false)

Or, change your hotkey settings to cntrl+alt+</>

Let me know if this works, or if you need help.

Mel

yes, i think i was getting a little tired, i did mean shift, but then i think i tried changing the trues and falses like you said but that didn't work, and then i changed the numbers to bc and be respectively in addition to changing the true falses and then that worked. thank you very much for your help, i have it working now, and your scripts are really helping me learn basic things i've been trying to do

glad to hear it worked out.... and sorry 'bout the arrow codes. I saw "<" and ">" but my brain went a different direction :)
