This has not been given huge amounts of testing, but I wanted to make something available to you today. The only changes compared to 3.5 are Leopard-related fixes and workarounds, so there's no point in updating to this if you're on Tiger.

Let me know if you find any problems.
Best.

Sweeeeet !!
Thanks Jonas, it works 100% on my HTC Titan (not the TyTn, this one is a WM6 devices also known as the PPC6800 or the UTStarcom6800 or the Verizon XV6800 etc.)
Works perfectly on Leopard :)
So thanks for the quick fix,
Adi

I really appreciate your efforts! (It's been odd to live without Salling Clicker; it's definitely possible — as with most other technology — but just as definitely not quite as good. Sometimes, the fact why no-one else is able to offer an equally appealing package — after all; what you're offering is quite simple — but I guess that's sort of a complement to you. As one usability nerd to another; you have done what many people try to do. (I hope I'm not coming through as too corny; if so, it's because it's Friday.))
However, 3.5.~1 doesn't quite work with my Z710i: it's stuck at the “preparing” phase, and after a while it reports security block. Please contact me if you need any further information; I'd love to be able to help! My email is rather new, so I'd prefer not to post it verbatim online. However, it consists of my first name, Dan, and one of my middle names as the host name: villiom.dk.
(For the record, I can debug it, if necessary. I suspect the “block” message is the catch-all exception handler, or just your timeout.)

Thanks!
Are you using the GM version of Leopard or an older Leopard build? It'll only work on the GM version.
Best.

| After updating to leopard, my powerpoint scripts don't work anymore. It says "powerpoint 2004 or greater required" but I do have powerpoint 2004. Should I re-install office 2004 or just wait for an update for the clicker?

Sounds weird, but I'll give this a try when I get back to the office.
I'm assuming you've verified that you don't *also* have an old version of Office on your Mac? Perhaps some test-drive of Office v.X?
Best.

I'm feeling a bit dim, but my SE w600i seems no longer capable of phone events. I get a message in the prefs under Phone Events that says "No devices that support phone events have been set up yet." Perhaps there is a setting under Leopard that I need to change... I set up my phone as I did in the past, and the Salling Clicker app was updated on the phone (listed as 3.5.60). A phone restart
Moreover, I seem to only be able to connect to my phone from the Salling Clicker app on the phone itself. (Under the menu bar item, I cannot select my device. Instead, it says connect from your device.) Is there no longer a simple means of doing so from the computer? In other words, I have to connect Salling Clicker then exit before the phone is connected from OS X.
This is Leopard release. Thanks.

Did you complete the optional step in the setup assistant? If not, please do.
Best.

An excellent find! Apparently, there's a problem in PowerPoint under Leopard that causes it to return a bogus version string that we don't recognize (it looks more like a date). I've attached a modified version of the script that should get you guys going again (I've temporarily removed the version check, so please don't try this on Office v.X)
Drag the attached file into Salling Clicker in your System Preferences; let it replace the version already installed.
Best.

Yes, a bit dim this morning. I completely missed that, as obvious as it is. Sorry for the bother. Things now look to be normal. I will put it through its paces. Kudos for the speedy update. Very much appreciated!
