Nokia N95 (01.01)
RM-159
firmware v20.0.0.15 (12-11-07)

Symbian Clicker version 3.5 (v64)

PC Clicker version 3.5.0.860

I do not have F-Secure installed on my phone.

Router and Windows firewall ports open for TCP 52131 and UDP 5353.

Pass code entered and "Enable TCPIP connections" is enabled in Clicker on the PC.

I have an internet access point setup on my phone and I am able to connect and use the internet over WIFI fine.

Internet Access point settings:
Data bearer: Wireless LAN
Network Status: Public
WLAN network mode: Infrastructure
WLAN security mode: WPA/WPA2
WPA/WPA2: Pre-shared key

When I launch Clicker on my phone I only get an option to "connect..."
In the help it says I should have "Connect with WIFI" and "Connect with Bluetooth"
There is no option to enter manual settings.
I can connect with clicker from the PC to the phone using bluetooth fine.
When I select connect it says searching. I do not get prompted to enter the pass code.
When finished it does not find any connections and just says search again.
I have tried using 2 different wireless routers and clicker installed on 2 different PCs. Tried with windows firewall disabled.
I have tried removing and reinstalling clicker on my phone.

Can somebody help me please.

There are two possible causes/solutions to this problem:

1. You're using the SmartRoaming product (or similar competing product) that attempts to "bridge" wifi and "gprs" internet access points. These products aren't compatible with Clicker, because they tend to not support multicast.

2. Your phone's comms database is corrupt; hard-resetting the device will fix this; I've had one customer support case on this one so far.

Best.

Thanks for the help.

I had a program called Devicescape installed.
I have removed it and now get all the menus and can connect fine.
