Unfortunately one cannot select a set of speakers (i.e., a specific Airtunes) using Clicker; see:

There is a problem with the forums that you cannot find older posts like this, e.g. by searching for 'iTunes speaker base station"
I've addressed this issue previously here:

Jonas, can you please tweak the search engine to examine older posts as well?

Back to the subject at hand, I use iTunes to stream music to a Roku Soundbridge, which is similar in some respects to an Airtunes Express.
I've had generally good success with this. OTOH, when I use the wonderful Pandora remote Clicker scripts:
http://www.salling.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5751
in conjunction with Windows Media Encoder to stream audio to my Soundbridge, I am unable to stream audio which contains a lot of high frequencies ... it sounds pretty awful.
This is in no way a deficiency of Salling Clicker, but I'm just explaining what sorts of things which you can or cannot expect to achieve.
Feel free to post back if any of what I've written is unclear, or if you have related questions. |
