I'm not sure about this but I'm pretty sure the existing WinDVD 7 script (http://www.salling.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3364) will work for WinDVD9 with the simplest of modifcations.

I haven't tried with Windvd 9, but I made the script work for windvd 8 just by altering winDVD.js .

All you have to do is change all instances of the phrase "winDVD 7" in the script to "winDVD 9" (or possibly winDVD9 depending on how the program refers to itself) and it might well work!

Definitely worth a shot :)

No, its a new version of the same program - Corel recently bought Intervideo.

From what I can see it doesn't look like a major redesign so I think what i suggested is definitely worth a shot :)

There is plenty of thing to change... the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\InterVideo\\DVD7\\Path
Change it to DVD9
and it's not "InterVideo winDVD 9"... it's "Corel winDVD"

If you have a problem with can't find WinDVD, open the js file in notepad... and edit the following

find the following phrase "FindWindow(...)" Change the Name of the Application there
For example I found this one
"FindWindow( "WinDVDClass", "Corel winDVD 9");"
I cahnged it to
"FindWindow( "WinDVDClass", "Corel winDVD");"

To find the Name of the windows of Corel WinDVD, the easiest way is to press ctrl+tab to see what's the name of your WinDVD application. On my laptop it was "WinDVD" but on my PC it's "Corel WinDVD"

Don't forget to hold any button until it get to "Play Mode", before using it...
