|
|
Hi All,
First of all, congratulations for this awsome software :)
At the moment I'm testing Clicker on my Samsung Omnia i900 with WM6.1.
I use it in combination with VMC with TV pack.
So far it works good, but I had some very nasty problems.
My VMC pc rebooted twice while i was using Clicker with MediaPlayer.
(VMC mediacenter was still running in the background).
It happend when Clicker was in the background of my i900 while I was placing a call with my i900.
Problem was that the MediaPlayer database went corrupt and I had to rebuild it from scratch (twice,,,,)
Is this a known problem?
Further I want to use a colored background for Clicker on my i900.
Is that a possibility?
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work :)

Hi,
I really cannot see why your PC would reboot, and I have never heard of this happening. We're not running any kernel code, and my guess is that this is circumstantial.
As for changing the background color, I'm afraid this is not possible at the moment.
Best.

Thanks for yor quick response Jonas!
I tried it again today ( after backing-up mediaplayer database :) ), and pc rebooted instantly again.
Case:
I startup pc, it automatically launches Vista Media Center.
I connect with i900, start MediaPlayer, choose some track and play it.
When I try to call voicemail (press and hold 1) while Clicker is still running in background, pc instantly reboots!
It happens ONLY when VMC is running.
Further I noticed that when i close ALL apps on my i900 with taskmanager, and I receive a call, my pc still mutes! Does this mean that there's still an instance of Clicker running invisible in the background??
Thanks in advance, again :)
Regards,

Well, yeah. Officially (and practically as well :roll: ) it's not an option.
Though i have stumbled upon an ugly workaround:
[code:1]widget.image = "c://black1x1.bmp";
widget.imageStyle = scFill;
[/code:1]
Don't try it if you haven't looked at (sc) code before though..
That bit of code should go in any script (just below the other 'widget.title' etc statements) that doesn't use images already; else things'll get hacktic.
About the hack-a-round:
Will take half a sec to load when entering the script, so it'll flash to the regular white background first.
Why i'm using this anyway? I use SC at night, f.i. when watching a movie; and that bright ipod interface just hurts!
attached is that one square pixel black image, for completenes'sakes. Drop it where the reference goes; ie the root of (pc's) c-drive.
@salling:
Is there also a way to do something like this with the listscreen etc?
..and probably not, but: is there anyway, apart from hacking (unpack/pack) the phone's executable, to edit the main menu's color? {perhaps a hidden 'night mode' ;) }
