I also had a t68i until a couple days ago. I thought it was a great phone, but replaced
it with a T616 because, at least in Canada, it was cheaper and still had all the things
that were important to me (small, good UI, BT (calendar and address book for
ProximitySync), plus a great looking screen. The T616 is available through Fido with
activation for $300. As a current subscriber in good standing, they gave me an
additional $50 off that price (I spend a lot with them each month).

The only other phones I considered were others with Bluetooth, the Siemens S55 and
the SE P800. The P800 was priced clear into the stratusphere, so I didn't even think
about it. I was pretty happy with the SE user interfaces though, and that's what
probably decided it for me (although I didn't play with the S55 too much).

So far I've been really happy with the T616. It seems just like the T68i with a few
improvements (some minor changes to the UI, which seem better) and, of course, new
features (polyphonic ring, more memory, better screen, built-in camera). I usually
hate all the extra crap that is being put into phones, but this seems like a good suite
and, reluctantly, I'm starting to use some of them. I really don't think I'll use the
camera much, but I've already taken to some of the hi-res games - sigh.

Also, for anyone in Canada I'd recommend they look into Fido. As long as your not out
in the boonies, the reception is really good and they are quite a bit cheaper overall...
especially in Vancouver where CityFido gives you unlimited local calling for $40/mth
with no monthly licensing fee.

Cheers,
Brad

Personally, I've my eye on Sony Ericsson's Z600. It's roughly the same software setup
as the T610/T616 but in a clamshell form factor.

Hello!

To start over, click "Settings..." and then "Reset to Default..." (or
similar). I hope this helps.

Best,
Jonas

Thanks Jonas... I reset what you said...

Now I see that #7 Accessories on my T68i is dimmed :-(

I know it is paired with my iMac...

I really need a kindergarten level class on this.

Bluetooth is totally confusing to me... I'm not sure what to pair with what or what to
make discoverable to who and what? Am I the only one?

Hi all,

Is there anywhere that I can download extra scripts for Salling Clicker
from the net?
Thanks,
Stu

As Jonas is in the US... I think I can answer that.. "No comment on=20
un-released versions..."

And, though it would be nice to hear something, that's the normal=20
response from Jonas.

Keep it up,

Thanks for answering that Jakob . What's Jonas doing in the US? Is he
lecturing again? Talk about lucky. :-)

Jonas,

I think it's more the anticipation of what great new features will the
next version bring rather than requests. Although it would be good if
we could;

- Use Graffiti on our Palms and have the text appear on the PowerBook's
screen (it would be useful for when you have to unlock a screen-saver
from the other side of a lecture hall).
- Be able to have iTunes music play through the Palms internal speaker
or headphone port (this would be useful when you want to access all the
great music on the PowerBook but don't want to disturb other people).
- Be able to browse the internet through the PowerBook's Bluetooth
connection.
