Hi

Hmmm I changed the delay from 1.5 to 1.2

and it seams that clicking once again into the highlighted text field=20
solves

the prob.

This is not a real sollution but I think it=B4s because of

the command "c" stuff and Jon=B4s commands.

I can live with that :-)

I'm not a programer so maybe this is a stupid question (however it's
a good idea)
Is there any way of having a Saling Clicker Script that when my
Ericson T68i rings my Tungsten T3 would show the call display of the
call and bring up addressbook of my Palm as it does with my Powerbook?

PostPosted: Sat Mar 13, 2004 3:10 pm    Post subject: Brightness Proximity Control Reply with quote

I've added another script. This time, it's a brightness proximity
control. Basically, it turns your screen off (sets the brightness to
zero) when you leave and turns it back up (sets the brightness to
whatever it was before you left) when you return. You can download it at

This uses GUI scripting, so you need to change the script and enter the
names of four GUI elements on your system. It's explained inside the
script.

This leads me to a question: Is there a way to let the user of a script
set preferences using AppleScript instead of having him change the
actual script himself? If not, a possible solution would be to add
another handler to the script ("on change_prefs()" or something) that
gets called when users select the script inside the Salling Clicker
preference pane and choose "Preferences..." from the little menu below
the script lists. The script could then set properties using "display
dialog" calls.

Oh, and another question: What's the correct mime type for .cgx files?

Lucas,

Having an API for setting user preferences would be great. It has been
thought of, for sure. Stay tuned.

cgz-files should have a binary mime type, like
"application/octet-stream"

Best,
Jonas

Oh. In case you meant "sitx", I guess it should be
"application/x-stuffit"

Jonas

What's wrong with syncing the address books and the Mac and the phone=20
and having the phone's own record appear on it's screen?

Works on my P800

It does not do that for me. Plus, Salling says this does not work with
SmartPhones. I was hoping to when I am connected to my MAC via Bluetooth and
place or receive a call the address book record will pop up.
