Please delete the Bluetooth serial port you use, delete the bluetooth pairing between your phone and mac, recreate the pairing and recreate the serial port. That fixed it for me.

It worked, awsome, but I didn't re-add the Serial connection, cause I'm unsure of the
settings, but it still worked, and I used the Bluetooth Setup utility to add my device
instead of pair new device so it would establish all the protocols. thanks much John.
