I don't know about your specific request, but I do know there is a solution
that might
work.

The Keyspan Digital Media Remote is a little IR receiver that hooks up via
USB to your
Mac. It comes with a little remote control - but it will also accept
commands from
other
remotes. Specifically, you just configure your ProtoPro to act as if it is
controlling a
JVC unit (VCR, TV, whatever), and the Keyspan DMR will accept the commands.
The
software
will do just about anything you want based on the IR commands you send it.

Not exactly what you wanted, but it should meet your needs.

Thanks, I will check it out :)

Something using the built in IR port would be optimal though, or at
least having a program with the option to choose the internal port
if you have one :)
