Well. I think you need to read things a bit more carefully... ;-)

Clicker relies on being able to write files to Library/Application
Support/Salling Clicker. What you're describing positively indicates
this isn't possible on your system. Please double-check permissions on
this folder (and parent folders).

Thanks.

Well, the permissions are fine, I even repaired them again, and nothing showed up.
Apparently Clicker has the right to write in this directory, since it was able to write
serials.plist with my serial number.

As for the link, I'm sitting here with a friend, and he can't find the link too; so either we're
both drunk and blinded by the vodka, or there's no link on Tyborg's page... Could you give
me the final link to the file, and I won't bother you (and the group) with this anymore ?
Sorry for insisting :)

Thanks,
Fabien

http://www.tyborg.com/clicker/logCallScript.html

Please check if something shows in Console when you click Apply Now.
You may want to send the response in private so we can keep traffic on
the list down to reasonable levels.

Thanks.

I'm terribly sorry, I found the link, it was hidden due to my css. Again, my apologies.
But the rest of the problem is still there :)

All right, it seems Salling Clicker created its folder in "Application Support" with the wrong
permissions: everything was read-only, even though I repaired the permissions twice
today. Anyway its working now, and I found this thanks to your suggestion.

Thanks a lot, Jonas

recently I was directed to a script that let me, with my PDA, set my
away messages view away messages, open and close ichat, and all that
jazz. The one feature I wanted, view buddy list, is the only one that
doesnt work and I was wondering if anyone out there has a better script
for viewing ones buddy list or fixed the old one. Thanks

Is this really useful? Also, since BPM is free, is it really worth it
for me to add this?

Thanks.

The less apps running on my computer the better! also, BPM doesnt display these things in
the menu bar, only when you select the menu bar. I was just thinking along the lines of
having salling clicker as my all-purpose bluetooth utility (apart from the iapps of course,
isync, address book etc)

Nick,

I'm sure some people would like this. In fact, it's been discussed here
before. It'd be trivial to add. Nevertheless, in the spirit of keeping
things rather simple, I have to ask myself: is this something a lot of
people want?

This is not to say that I don't kind of like the idea of adding
features. I really do! But I don't want Clicker to turn into Netscape
Navigator 4.7...

Thanks.

Ok. I think this will improve with the next version of CLicker. Now why
you'd like BPM and AB connected at the same time, I just don't
understand.

Thanks.

Jonas doth quoth:

Thats what I suspected, but I couldn't find any information on this.
Its not a preference... so how do you do it? :)

Thanks, great software. Apple should give you a kick back, because it
really impressed PC peeps.

Regards,

Stuart.

Hold option while clicking "Select Phone". I think this is explained in
the FAQ as well:

clicker.salling.com/faq.html

Cheers.
