|I started a topic about "overridding" the internal BlueTooth adapter in my PowerBook G4 FW 800 with a dongle so I could extend my range, seems anyone with a Tungsten T3, Zire, or mobile equiped with BlueTooth and wanted gracious range would need to fit their G4 PowerBook with a class 1 dongle.
Some posts said to expect the dongle to override the internal, some posts said move something regarding the internal BlueTooth and reverting could require software to clear the cash and placing a file to its original place.
The dongle write-up on ebay claimed OS X compatible.
With the dongle plugged in - the green light is on - but never blinks, and range from the Mac is 10 meters, me things the internal is still working.
I would try moving the file for the internal - when I have the software to clear the cash.
Does anyone know a way the dongle could work?
