K700 Online Firmware Update Now Available

Requires use of a DSS-20 or DSS-25 SyncStation and a Windows PC.

Currently updates the firmware to R2L.

Not tested whether it works under Virtual PC.

Thanks. Good catch. I'm still hopeful some of the cosmetic issues will be fixed for a later update.

R2L primarily fixes battery-life issues (this is my experience, at least).

As a developer do you have any more influence over SE about bugs in the firmware and getting them fixed than us consumers?

Do you have contact with the actual software developers of the phone, rather than SE's (mostly clueless) Help Desk staff?
