Some more information on the V800.

It turns out the V800 acts as a USB mass storage device when the USB cable is connected to your Mac. Hence, the phone will mount as a disk in Finder. Very nice.

Also very nice is that if hence appears like a camera to iPhoto, and pictures taken with the phone can be imported, just as if the phone was a camera. Again, very nice.

That's all for now.

I have a version in-house that works with the V800. It will be released after additional testing. Let me know if you'd like to try a copy.

As for the MP3s, Sony Ericsson actually has software (for Windows) that lets you DRM-sign MP3s to you can listen to them on the V800.

Hi,
i also got a V800 on friday.
I can listen to the mp3s that i have transferred to the phone, but i canīt use them as a ringtone. The phone wants a DRM key???
So where can i get the software to add this DRM nonsense to the mps3.
I have installed the SE software that came with the phone under Virtual PC, but i canīt find it there.
If there is no solution to do this on the Mac or to get rid of it directly on the phone directly i will return the phone.
