I use my powerbook with my K700 regularly (isync; phonecalls from address book etc.)
Reconfigured the phone for bluetooth under 10.3.7
Installed Basics

Select Keynote or iTunes (the two I'll use most regularly) under remote control in the K700's Bluetooth menu.

See the message on the K700 screen:
"please select the device you want to control"
Then, without further intervention on my part: "Searching"
Then: "No devices found; Search again?"

Hm. Is your Mac discoverable at this point?

Also, did you check the "Use as remote control" in the Bluetooth Setup Assistant when you paried the devices?

Best.

I have the same problem even though the Mac is discoverable...

Is there any way to set the "Use as remote control" property after you've paired the Mac and the phone?
I initiated the pairing from my phone and I can't remember ever seeing the check box...
