Hi, after losing all my hair trying to get iSync and my K750i to work properly (so far it works but entries on the phone are an 1hr late) I would like to try your product but can't find out if its compatible. Any advice?

Ok. You're talking about iSync here (so this thread isn't really the right one; I might move it). But I'll try to give you some help, based on my own experience in this matter.

I suspect you have daylight savings set wrong. There should be no need to add or subtract hours. There is a remote possibility that you're in a location whose timezone/DST regulations changed recently, but I kind of doubt it.

Are you 100% sure your phone's DST settings are correct? Have you also disabled the automatic time zone stuff? You cannot rely on in.

Best.

Yeah, tried that. Got my phone set to good old GMT, standard (not daylight saving) and the Mac set the same. And the phone is still an hour behind the Mac. In two days I'm off back to Nokia!

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you should be observing DST this time of year (and most likely, your Mac is).

Here's a useful link, btw, for determining your locale's current settings:

Bingo! Should really know your own time zone but hey, it seems ironic that udring the longest periods of daylight we would have a ttime zone called daylight saving. Thanks for all your help!

I agree this is really confusing. Once you dive into time and date arithmetic, things get really complicated real quickly.
