I have yet to see post on or find a script that allows one to quit a Keynote slideshow.
Not quit the application but just the slideshow and return to the editing screen.

Preferrably, I'd like to assign this script to one of the Palm buttons, say Calendar since
its task is the same as the To-Do button (More options). I'm not clear on what the
syntax for assigning the particular button is.

TIA,

D9

You might want to check out http://www.apple.com/applescript/bluetooth/
keynote.html (which has a script for doing that, and which I found by just doing a
websearch on "applescript keynote"). I've used those scripts in the past and they work
fine.

Thanks for the lead. The Apple version needs a little work to operate=20
on my Palm Tungsten T, but this is what ended up working for me as a=20
Basic Script:

try
tell application "Keynote" to activate
tell application "SEC Helper" to simulate keyboard charcode (ASCII=20
number "Q")
on error
beep
end try
return

Thanks again. D9
