There is a script for speaking the Track name and Playlist of the current song playing
in iTunes.

I don't know anybody that organizes their music by playlist and would prefer it to
speak the track name, album and artist.

I've tried changing the script to do this.. but Im having no luck what so ever. Can
someone help or supply me with the script?

Cheers

Ian

But still.

The code is as follows:-

tell application "iTunes"
set the_artist to the artist of the current track
set the_album to the album of the current track
set this_track to the name of the current track
set the player_state to the player state
pause
delay 1
end tell
say ("The current song, [[emph-]]is " & this_track & ¬
": from: " & the_album & ¬
": by: " & the_artist) as string
delay 1
tell application "iTunes"
if the player_state is playing then
play
end if
end tell

Enjoy
