The set system volume control with my 12" Pbook, Panther and T610 plain just does not
work. It has no relation to the real Apple system volume.

Also, the menu bar icon is really annoying! its huge aswell as in colour! Could you make an
option so its small and black and white and moveable like the Apple ones.

Other than that its great software!

Tom.

Hello!

Mac OS X 10.3.2 is broken to the point of its system volume control not
working very well. This has been reported to Apple, and I'd presume a
fix will become available.

Yes, I will most likely provide an option to show a general monochrome
icon. Try to render an N-gage in a vertical 7x17 pixels and you'll
understand the rationale for making the icons larger in the first
place. ;-) In the meantime, you can always hide the icon to save space.

The icon cannot be made movable, though. There's no public API to do
this.

Jonas: to make it movable you can use the APE framework from unsanity
along with Menu Extra Enabler for example Rogue Amoeba's Sound Source.
(i know the guys, they would be glad to give you and hints if needed,
sound source icon credits go to me heh heh :)

I know, but this would add support costs for sure. Better to do it the
way it was intended, I think.

If someone wants to write a separate Menu Extra to control Salling
Clicker, that's totally doable and I'd be happy to help out.
