Jonas, I remember there being mention of a script to control
VideoLAN player but it would appear that since all of the previous
message attachments have been purged, it's no longer accessible
unless I've over-looked it in the "More Actions..." listing. If you
would be so kind as to e-mail it to me, I would be most appreciative.
Or, better yet, paste it as text into a message and post it for all
of the members.

Much thanks for a
wonderful product and even better support!

Kam

The VideoLAN script needs a bit more work for me to feel really good
about it. I'm currently on a business trip, so if anyone has it feel
free to send it to the list. I know they made some changes to the
keymappings in VLC lately, so you may want to look into that, as it'd
cause problems. Also, I have not played with the latest version;
perhaps it has improved the AppleScript support?

Best,
Jonas

Hi.

Was that re-install of the OS an Archive & Install + Preserve Users &=20
Network Settings?

If yes, you still have a corrupt BT settings file in your=20
~/Library/Preferences folder.

Delete that, and see if it gets better

Earlier I uploaded a copy of the VLC controller script, but the forum does not appear
to be handling the attachment correctly. I have received numerous requests for the
script, so now it is posted on a web page:

http://www.stanford.edu/~moonhawk/downloads.html

This is simply a saved copy of the VLC controller that was downloaded to the Salling
Clicker 1.6. Although some people who have obtained the script from me have said
that the controller works well, all of Jonas's caveats apply (see his post in this thread).
