On www.smartronixx.com I just read, that there would be a P800 compatible version of those two programs this week.
Is it just made up, or is there really anything to this?

This was probably just a liberal interpretation of me saying that I'm
working on it. I expect to have something of beta quality out within a
month.

Wow - that was fast...
It's still great to hear, that you're working on it after all!
Until now I thought, that P800-Mac syncing would probably not be possible, since the P800 supports neither IrMC nor SyncML over OBEX.
So did you after all end up using SonyEricsson's proprietary syncing-standard (whatever that might be...) - or did you find another solution?

Well, the first P800-capable version of MobileSync will require GPRS or
dial-up GSM and a networked Mac. I am hopeful Bluetooth (or maybe even
the Sync Station) can be supported, once the protocol has been cracked.
This is really all I want to say about sync and P800 at the moment.
Txx/Ryy-users out there may be interested in knowing that improved
support for your phone models is progressing as well. I decided to
rework quite a lot, so things are taking more time than I originally
hoped for. Thus, a small update (MobileSync 1.0.3) may be in order to
fix a couple of small issues:
- All-day events taking up two days in the phone's week-view.
- Possible time-zone issues (I have one or two scattered reports, but
have not been able to reproduce on my setup; information anyone, or
everything working fine?)
- *Possible* surprise feature...
Cheers,
Jonas
