| I suspect that the OS of the new Blackbery 7100t from T-Mobile will not be easily amenable to the Clicker, but I thought I would ask anyway. Any chance of support for this phone? |

Ultimately, it depends on what the user interest is (compared to that of other models). I've looked at the specs for this device, and it seems doable.
Best,
Jonas

| Jonas: that's great to hear. Mine is already on order. I am seeing the new, cheap "waffle-iron" Blackberries everywhere, and as I understand it, T-Mobile is already buried in pre-orders for the 7100t. It appears that RIM has done a good job implementing the Outlook synchronization that is so valuable to corporations. I do not much care about that, but I am interested in having a phone less flaky than my SX1. Don't get me wrong; I love the SX1 in so many ways, but sheesh, it cannot keep reliable time. |

| Got my 7100t a couple of weeks ago; spent two days with it and turned it back into our IS department. No BT services accessible from my PowerBook. Screen is beautiful, menus are stupid, and the keyboard is not good in my view. And it's bigger than my SX1. Too bad about the Razr not being supportable. |

That's disappointing. I read somewhere else that they crippled the BT on the 7100. Now its confirmed.
I suppose its a Treo 650 for me... |

| I'm back to thinking about Nokia, and trying to make sense out of their bewildering array of models. I've had a Treo before, though not a 650, and I don't think I want another. |

I've got one of these on the way. Is the case closed on this? Is it an OS or an actual hardware limitation in place on the Bluetooth Blackberries? I thought I read that an OS update might be coming out later this year that would enable more services.
By the way, to the poster complaining about the T-Mobile menus, you can apparently modify the theme to the default Blackberry or the Vodaphone theme, both of which are quite a bit more logical.
Anyhow, Jonas, with the beautiful screen on this thing it would be a lot more fun to use than the comparatively tiny 3650 screen. Please give me hope!
And of course, keep up the amazing work. |

It's all about priorities. I'll let you know if the BB-models will be supported.

Yeah, I know that, but it's not about the themes; it's about the logical layout and functionality. Sucks, plain and simple. Makes the Palm interface look good. OTOH, Windoze makes the 7100t look good, which probably explains why so many of my colleagues like it. Sure, the screen is nice. So is the screen on my SX-1, or the last Treo I had. I keep coming back--and it's kind of embarrassing to admit--to my t68i because it just works. It syncs to my AB and iCal every time, I can access my Exchange mail through ATT's StartOffice, it works with my Jabra with decent quality, and it runs SC like a champ. In fringe areas, its RF is poor. But the ATT/Cingular merger seems to have removed most of those I used to encounter. Speed, or the lack thereof, is now its biggest drawback. But I have wireless data access almost everywhere now right out of my PowerBook, so that's not as critical. And the t68i is wonderfully small. The upshot is that I can keep waiting for the perfect phone. Yeah, right.
Even if I could get SC working on the 7100t, its inability to interface with Apple BT services strikes me as pretty much a show stopper. And the performance with my my headset was poor on all 3 I tried. Unless I missed something. Has T-Mobile opened up the BT services? |

i had the BB 7100t and within 5 minutes i was disgusted that there was no mac support. no isync ?? WTF??
i guess i could have gotten that pocket mac software.. but instead i opted for the nokia n-gage QD..
this phone kicks serious BB But.
works great with salling clicker but i cant get the ituns artwork to show up on screen..
plus it comes with tony hawk pro skater..
everyone just get the ngage and save jonas from having to deal with the BB.

I would love to see support for the BB 7520. I have a 7510 and am waiting to find out more about the bluetooth implementation before upgrading.
Clicker is great, I use it with my palm t3 all the time.
