Hi,

Syncing works like a charm, except:

Meetings with a date after the Swedish date for DST (i.e. March 27:th) will, when synced from Entourage, be one hour earlier in the phone. (And conversly, meetings synced from the phone, will be one hour later in Entourage)

looks like I'm missing a setting, or something...

Powerbook G4, 1 Ghz, 768 MB, OSX 10.3.7
(Date & time setting: automatic/Timezone: CET)

T630
(Timezone: GMT+1, Wintertime)

Mobilesync
(1.0.2 (v112))

And, btw, I've tried to change time zone in the system prefs and installed version 1.0.3(v114) of Mobile Sync. All with the same result - one frigging hour earlier in the phone than in Entourage (but only for dates after DST)

Clearly, it has something to do with DST, but how can i fix (I'll bet that I'm makin' some really silly misstacke)

d066e,

When you switch your phone over to summertime, these appointments should show on the correct time. I think this is how these phones work.

Hi, Jonas.

Switching my phone over to summertime doesn't change a thing timewise. All appointments after switch to DST are still one hour to early.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Or am I the only one planning more than a couple of days ahead?

Since I want to be able to use both the phone and entourage, this causes a big inconvenience, since I have to keep track of where I first wrote the apointment and the calculate the correct time... I'm thinking about getting a filofax instead.

Are there anyone out there with an idea how I can work around this problem?

Did you also move the date forward when you tried this? Additionally, I should ask if your phone is set to auto-timezone (Nitz?)? It should not be, as this may cause problems.

Here's a suggestion:

I understand it's the appointments moved from Entourage that has the problem? If so, keep going, and if after the DST-switch things don't look right, refresh the phone from Entourage by (1) doing a "delete all" on the phone and (2) sync.

Hi Jonas,

Yeah, I tried to sync while the phone where set to DST and calender clean - it ended up with the same result though. I'll wait until the real daylight switch in march and then I'll check it with a clean calender in the phone.

FYI - the time diff is both from Entourage (resulting in phone calender showing meetings 1 hr to early) and from phone (resulting in Entourage show meetings 1 hr to late)

I've tried to fidget around with different time settings both on the phone and on my mac - but so far no positive result. I'm still thinking that it is some silly setting that I've forgotten about.
