|I understand why (or think I do) the proximity doesn't work with the Treo.
It seems however that half of the proximity can be functional though...
I created an applescript that checks for "terminal 1" every few seconds. When Salling returns an error that there is no terminal 1, then the phone must be on a call, or is no longer around.
The issue seems to be that when the phone comes back in range, clicker doesn't know its there until "clicker" on the Treo is run.
Can't both issues be solved though? Checking for nearby devices should return true once the Treo is detected again...(sort of solves the issue whent he phone leaves and comes back but does not solve it when the user is on a call.) The other one can sort of be solved with my simple script...but it may take 20 seconds or so before clicker notices the phone is no longer connected. I even tried by hitting the reset button on the PDA and it still took the same amount of time. If this was faster...it would make me happy as coming back into proximity isn't as important to me as pausing my music or movie when a call comes in or I leave.
Any ideas on how to make the proximity better with the Treo? Otherwise for now I'll live with the 30 second delay.
Also...where do I find the list of event handlers clicker supports...I've just been opening scripts to dig through them and see what they use. I've got the dictionary for "SEC Helper" too...but it doesn't have things like "on entered_proximity()".
