I might be a little ahead of myself as my phone is only on the verge (I understand) of being supported by Salling. My question none the less is whether it would at all be possible to make your phone work as a headset for Skype (e.g. or similar program)?

Does anyone have a feeling for this?

Salling Clicker does not do audio. I'm not sure exactly how that'd fit nicely into the feature-set of this application. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you?

Best.

No, I see your point. It doesn't fit very well with the other features of Salling Clicker. Maybe I was getting carried away with the whole bluetooth/computer/phone fun. Just looking so much forward to enjoying the clicker :D. Work hard and ignore me.. Would still like to use my phone with skype audio. I'll look for that elsewhere though.

I can think of some extensions of Skype that I'd like to see controlled through Clicker: Locate & call contact, mute/hold/end call, change status, view info, quit Skype.

It would seem that some or all of this is possible since Skype is scriptable. Alas, I know little of AppleScript but have been trying (to no early avail). :? Does anyone know of a place other than here where Skype scripts might be available? I've tried the Skype forum but have gotten no feedback.

Specs:
Mac mini 1.5
10.4.2
Salling Clicker 3.0
Skype 1.3.0.x
Logitech Wireless headset
(headset is used for Skype audio in/out while the Mac mini still pumps other audio out via external speakers, so I can watch EyeTV or DVD Player while chatting on Skype via headset.)
