|
|
when I start Salling Clicker for windows I just get an error dialogbox containing "loadXML() failed with VARIANT_FALSE" {ok}
and when I press {ok} another window pops up saying "terminalcapabilities.plist not found, please reinstall application" {ok}
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again but I just get the error... |

Hi Zap!
Thanks for the report. I need you to first verify that the file "TerminalCapabilities.plist" is indeed in its correct location:
C:\Program Files\Salling Software AB\Salling Clicker\Config\
If this is indeed the case, we'll have to think of some reason why this fails on your machine. My gut feel is that it's related to the wrong version "MSXML" being active on your computer.
Could you also please let me know what version of XP and IE you're on?
Best.

C:\Program Files\Salling Software AB\Salling Clicker\Config\TerminalCapabilities.plist exists.
I have winxp sp2 and
IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 |

Here's the solution to this problem:
Go the the Start menu
Select Run
Type (or paste) the following into the Open box:
%windir%\system32\regsvr32.exe %windir%\system32\MSXML3.dll
Then restart the computer.
Clicker should now launch just fine.
Best.
