Not at this time. Microsoft made it exceptionally difficult to capture these. In fact, I'm not sure it's possible for anything but WMP DRMed tracks (not sure about this, though).

Best.

what about those cover arts that are stored in the mp3 tag? and not as those invisible WMP cover art files that mess it all up?

I'll keep revisiting this, especially when WMP 11 is out. For now, though, there are more pressing issues that need to be addressed. I can only hope for your understanding; must be frustrating (can't agree on the sound quality thing, though, but my ears may just be too waxed up ;-)).

Best.

hi!

i'm really interested in getting Album Art through WMP!!
its been nearly 3 yrs (or so) since the last update on this post ...

WMP11 is out and has been for some time

Album art is stored in the MP3 tags, but also i have the album art in the same FOLDER as the MP3 songs, so theres not exactly anything stopping you using that picture.

just a simple mod that: when you are playing the MP3, it looks for .JPG files in the same place as the .MP3 file, and uses it as an image for album art.

is this possible?

UPDATE :D

btw, i would be very grateful, because this is excepent software! but i absoloutely hate iTunes! i'm on a Pocket PC (TYtN) so pocket pc compatibility would be great :D

thanks Giles

It is coming, Giles, along with other WMP-related improvements. Working very hard on it.

Best.

Hi Jonas,

I'm happy to hear that album art will be making a debut in the next version of salling clicker. I'm using the latest version of Windows Media Player.
