We're investigating a possible case of Bluetooth-crippling on these Cingular-branded Sony Ericsson models.
Until we know the truth, I'd recommend against buying them. They're both great phones, but if Cingular has crippled Bluetooth access from out Java client, there's not much we can do in the short-term.
EDIT: I now have confirmation from Cingular that their phones have indeed been crippled in this respect. There may be a workaround, but until that option has been explored, we are not compatible with the Cingular-branded versions of the Z520a and W600.

Good news: we've identified a way to comply with Cingular's stringent (IMHO overly so) security requirements.
I hope to roll this into 3.0.1, so stay tuned. Don't throw that phone away!
