Is it possible to replace the script data of a read only script keep the UUID...?

If not, is it possible to create another script with the same UUID...?

Thanks

Nick

I'm sure there are others that have better ideas on this that me, but it is definitely possible, albeit with a bit of pain (using my method, at least).

1. Store your new script under a separate UUID.
2. Quit everything Clicker-related.
3. Copy/paste the script data between the UUID in the Actions.plist file in Clicker's Application Data folder.

That should be it. And yes, I know that's painful... ;-) Hopefully, someone with actual real-life experience in this will come up with a better trick.

Best.

Jonas, what makes a script that you create in SC read-only in the first place? None of mine are.

Save it as read-only from Script Editor.

Best.
