This is my first script. With it, you can use the keyboard on your mobile phone / PDA to type on the computer, and use the touch screen to navigate the mouse at the same time.

To Install:
- Download Input Pad.rar and extract to My Clicker Scripts folder.
- Open the Javascript File and modify the "combinationsPath" variable to contain the the path to My Clicker Scripts folder.

Functions:
- Use keyboard to enter keys
- The function menu can be used to input more keys (Function keys, lock keys, etc.)
- The touch screen can be used to navigate the mouse
- The tab key is used to hold down the shift, control, alt, or windows button. For example, if you press the tab key twice, it will hold down ctrl. press, for example, the A key after that, and all the text in a document will be selected.
- Also in the function menu, you can use own combinations of keys, for example Alt+F4, or even the 3D switcher (Windows key and tab).

How to Create a new combination:
The combinations are stored within the Combinations.txt file in the same folder as the script. Open it. You'll see some default combinations. The syntax for a new combination is as follows:

key #1 + key #2 [A,B] (Name of combination)

Key #1 and key #2 should be filled with the names of the keys. For a list of the correct names, check the first few lines of the script. "A" should be filled with 2, 1 or 0, and applies to key #1. a 0 states that the key should be pressed. a 1 means that the key should be held until after the second key is pressed (for example the Alt in the Alt+F4 combo). Finally, a 2 means that the key should be held down even after the second key is pressed (the 3D switcher, for example, requires the Windows key to be held even after tab is pressed). "B" has the same function for key #2. Obviously, putting in a 1 for key #2 has no effect. The combination menu also contains an option to release all pressed keys.
Finally, enter a name for the combination at the end of the string in between brackets.

The max. number of combinations is set to 10. This can easily be changed, however, by modifying the ComboCount variable in the script, and changing the text file appropriately.

What to do if the mobile's keyboard doesn't work correctly:
I tested the script with my mobile phone (Sony Ericsson X1), and it should work fine with most others. If the keys you press on your mobile phone aren't transferred (correctly) to the computer, however, I've added a special menu option in the function menu, named "Create Error File". Select this option, then follow the instructions to automatically create a file in the script folder, named "Error Report". This textfile contains information I need to update the program. Add the file to a comment in this post and I'll look into it as fast as possible.

Credits:
- Runarius - This script is originally created from his writer program (although I edited/deleted about 90% of it)
- Salling Software AB - I implemented most of the official Mouse Pointing script into this one

Known Bugs:
None yet, though there must be some around...

Possible additions in future updates:
- Possibility to make new combinations in the program
- Pressing down the d-pad to simulate a mouse press (if it's possible to distinguish the enter key from the d-pad; if so, help is appreciated)

Version History:
Version 1.0 - First version released. No updates yet.
Version 1.5 - edited compatibility for more mobile phones (I hope).
Version 1.6 - improved compatibility for mobile phones.

Suggestions and advice are always appreciated! After all, this is my first script..

That's the general error when the combinationsPath variable is incorrect :S Are you sure you changed it correctly? You should modify it like this:

C:\\Users\\*your name*\\Documents\\ etc.

Ok, i got it working, i forgot it had to be two \\ .

I guess this only works for qwerty/qwertz keyboards, and not for the standard 1-9 keyboards on mobile phones, since i can only type numbers.

For my Sony Ericsson P990i (I know, ooold!) and Win7x64.

The following input was received for the A key:
0041

The following input was received for the Space key:
0020

Can't I modify it myself?

grtz,
Niels

Update: Tried to update it, didn't work, only the backspace seems to work. In notepad it shows a "c". :P

My bluetooth stick is broken so I don't have bluetooth right now. Can anyone tell me the error given (the error is found in C:\Users\Boris\AppData\Roaming\Salling Software AB\Salling Clicker\ScriptErrorLog.txt for Vista and 7).
