|
|
I have just installed the trial version on my MDA PRO (WM5)
It works fine at home over my wifi network but will not work over bluetooth and comes up with the followinng error:
Connect failed, could not connect to service.
Reason: Error other than time out at L2CAP or bluetooth radio level.
I am using the Microsoft bluetooth stack and all other bluetooth connections work fine e.g. activesync.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. |

This is a rather unusual error message (never had it reported before). The only thing I can come up with is trying to restart the phone and the PC. Also, please verify that the phone and the PC are paired (please note that not all Bluetooth services require authentication/pairing, but Clicker does, for security reasons).
Best.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have been having a play and have found that if I have enabled activsync over bluetooth I get the error (even if activesync is not running) but if I disable the bluetooth connection in activesync then I do not get the error and everything works well. :D :D
I am therefore assuming that activesync hogs the bluetooth connection even if it is not running. |

Glad you got it figured out. I've contacted you offline for additional details.
